I can highly recommend the Rifle (www.rifle.com) windshield for the Savage. Top quality, although at a fairly high price. Crystal-clear Lexan, stainless steel hardware, custom-fitted billet mounts. About $250 US. It comes in 14", 16", and 18" above the headlight cutout. I got the 16" model (I'm 5'7"), but wish I had rather gotten the 18-incher and cut it down if need be. For myself, I think 17" would have been just about right.
